Why the Pen Format

The pen replaces manual reconstitution and drawing from a vial with a closed, pre-dosed system with a readable scale. This reduces handling steps in daily research, ensures reproducible withdrawal volumes, and minimizes air and contact with the material.

The Two Compounds

BPC-157 is a synthetically produced peptide. Its sequence is derived from a protein described in human gastric juice. In scientific literature, BPC-157 is predominantly studied in the context of tissue regeneration and gastrointestinal models.

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment modeled after a section of the body's own Thymosin Beta-4. It is discussed, among other things, in connection with cell migration and neovascularization.

The reason both compounds are often considered together is due to their different points of action in the respective models studied. Whether and how this results in a combined effect is the subject of ongoing investigations and is not conclusively clarified.

State of Research

Neither BPC-157 nor TB-500 are approved as medicines in any country. Accordingly, there is no officially approved application and no approved dosage. A large part of the published data comes from cell culture and animal models; controlled human studies are very limited.

Storage in a Laboratory Context
